Paid to Surf websites - The Redux

Wondering how I could earn myself a few extra quid, I took another look at some websites that claim to help you earn hundreds of pounds by simply filling in a few websites or clicking links.

I'd had previous experience of this kind of thing from quite a few years ago. Needless to say the experience wasn't great. I thought that the industry might have pulled its finger out, though.

How wrong I was.

I signed myself up to "20Cogs" (https://20cogs.co.uk) - utter tripe from start to finish. Only got as far as registering myself for two paid tasks. First website crapped out before I could complete the assigned task (registering and then answering a survey - question 3 of the survey wouldn't submit - error cleverly appearing after I'd registered).

Second website/mission was a similar task. Register on a site and then complete a survey. Again, I got as far as the survey. Five stars represented my progress along the survey. However, no matter how many offers I did or didn't sign up for, the progress of my survey got no further than 4/5 stars complete. Essentially, a blatant con.

The pay to surf industry is still the realm of charlatans. Don't have anything to do with it - avoid at all costs!
